In the last edition of the Sandcastle newsletter I had indicated that the renovation to the main building was beginning in November 2011. The renovation will be finished in February of 2012 and has been a major improvement to the resort, and has received rave reviews from all of the owners so far. Many owners have asked when the back building will be worked on. The short answer is we need to be able to pay for it first and in the next few months the board of directors and management will begin to put together the operating and reserve budgets and be able to start the planning process for the back building along with the dock and sea wall replacement. In other news the Sandcastle Beach Club also has a new Facebook page that will help with our marketing and provide a location for fast uploads of pictures or information pertaining to the resort. Photos of the renovation of the building can also be viewed there.
